Marcus Bowers
Solo Guitar & Vocals | Blues · Rock · Fingerstyle
Marcus Bowers is a guitarist and singer based in New Mexico bringing decades of serious musical craft to intimate stages and private events. His solo sets move fluidly between blues, rock, and intricate fingerstyle — electric and acoustic — drawing from a deep well of standards, classics, and originals. San Francisco's The Bay Bridged praised his work as "creating glam-influenced anthems — no easy task, but they do it quite well," and that same commitment carries into every solo performance.
Trained at South Plains College under American music legends Alan Munde and Joe Carr, Marcus has performed as lead guitarist and vocalist in San Francisco's rock circuit, and spent years building infrastructure for some of the country's most celebrated festivals — Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Life Is Beautiful. He knows what makes a live music experience work from every angle.
